For best results, comb lashes immediately after applying mascara.
1.While still wet with mascara, place comb against lash line and comb lashes carefully, moving up, out and away from eyes.
2. If applying more than one coat, comb lashes after each additional application.
Make sure to always look in a mirror when using this tool, the teeth of the comb are sharp. Do not use on lashes after mascara has dried.
Gently wipe clean after use with alcohol wipe. Allow to air dry before replacing cap, do not use makeup remover as this may damage the comb.

Very good at separating lashes after mascara application.
Works fine for me
I ALWAYS use a metal lashcomb after mascara. Always. It prevents lashes from sticking together and makes mascara look so much more natural. I have one similar to this, but I think I will get this one because the teeth of the comb seem to be sharper, which means you get even better separation, especially if, like me, you use several coats of mascara. As for people complaining about it poking their eye, just BE. CAREFUL. I am. Never had any problems and I am not young by any stretch of the imagination. So if an elderly woman can manage it w/o hurting herself, I'm sure younger women, with a much firmer hand, will be ok.
