Why is rubbing alcohol listed as one of the ingredients? What is this used for? Isn't it drying for curly hair especially?

This product doesn't do what it claims.
The product wasn't horrible in that it didn't weigh down or dry out my hair. I purchased it for or the purpose of elongating my curls because i have so much shrinkage. There was nothing special about this and it did not elongate my curls. My hair looked as if I'd put nothing in it.

Hair Type Very Curly Hair
I'm a boy and I've been using this product for a couple days now and have seen No difference in my hair length after i apply it. If anything, it makes my hair shorter instead of longer.
LOVE LOVE LOVE
Absolutely fell in love with this product. I have 3b curls and I hate how much my curls shrink once fully dry. Ive tried various methods to elongate curls but it tends to make my hair frizzy. This product really elongates my curls and goes in so smoothly. Smells great and tames my frizz. I added innersense i create curl memory over for extra hold. So so so happy and will def be my new hair staple!
Can't live without it
I have 3C curls and can't live without this product! Definiton without the weight/scrunch. Needs to be paired with a gel but so does any curl cream. Smells amazing as well
1 Product Wash n Go (3c/4a Coily Hair)
I have thick and brittle coily hair that mats up after a day or two of my wash n go. This product truly creates ringlets that are separated, defined with the added bonuses of being shiny and soft. I slather a lot into my hair in the shower after washing/conditioning. Then diffuse. Nothing else. Curls stay moisturized and juicy for 4-5 days. This is truly that one-product wash n go.

Hair Type Very Curly Hair
My hair is a combo of 3a, 3b, 3c. Very thick, coarse, dry, bleached, frizzy. This works great. The ONLY product- after countless 'try-ons' - that controls my curls and is not stiff or crunchy. My hair is actually the softest it has every been with this product. I don't think it elongates my curl, just enhances it with a ton of moisture. I have always had to use a gel or a gel cocktail, to control my frizz/curl, and never thought it could actually be soft AND controlled. My hair can take a lot of heavy product, but this one doesn't feel heavy or weigh my hair down. I use a leave in conditioner, then this, and that is it. Sometimes I finger curl, sometimes I don't. Both have great results. A little water spritz 2 and 3rd days, some days i need to fix a curl here or there. And the cherry on top is the scent is 'clean' and mild, not perfumey or offensive (a must for me). This product is really different than the rest.
