Size wise, compared to my regular BaBlyss dryer, it's actually nearly the same when opened; in fact, the head of the dryer where the motor is is bulkier. Conair is a name that has been associated with quality hair care products since I was young. I've owned Conair hair dryers before and have always been satisfied with both value and performance. The Double Ceramic Folding Handle Dryer did not disappoint; though it sounded fancy (ceramic, ooh, is that good?), It works like any dryer would and works well. Good job again Conair.

Conair gave me the Double Ceramic Folding Handle Dryer with Dual Voltage for free so that I could review it. A little about me: I have very thick, extremely long, type 2c-3a waves and curls; I blow dry my hair using a professional ionic hair dryer with 5 heat settings, 5 air flow intensity levels, and a cool button that locks in the cool setting. With that being said, there are several pros and cons to the Conair® Double Ceramic Folding Handle Dryer with Dual Voltage : Pros: - The handle folds up, which is great for saving space - Retractable cord (although I had to fight with it to get the cord to retract the last 6 or so inches, even following the instruction manual's notes on this feature) - This dryer has Dual Voltage which makes it great for worldwide travel. Cons: - Only two heat settings, high or low - The cool air button does not lock in place so you have to hold it in the entire time you are using it - Folding the handle up and down is challenging, to say the least — each time I had to use superhuman strength and I worry that I am going to break it; honestly, I'm not sure if I am even doing it correctly, but the enclosed instruction manual does not mention anything at all about this feature.
Love how easy it is to fold and put away.

I love the way this hair dryer folds and the cord retracts to fit into most of the hair care drawers I have so it's easy to keep everything organized and condensed.

It's a nice side for a decent travel hair dryer. I do feel like everytime I have to fold it I'm going to break it. The retractable cord feature is spotty.
