To replace the refill:
- Open the compact and lift the blue tray. Then pop out the used powder pan, pressing from underneath with both thumbs until it pops out.
- Insert new refill. Snap into place.

Really bummed. I love the formula, but the lightest shade (1C0) is too dark on me. I'm extremely pale and the only Estee foundation I've found that I can wear is the Double Wear in 0N1. Not sure why they don't offer this shade in their other formulas, but they could do with expanding their shade range quite a bit.

I love this foundation. I first tried the stay wear liquid but I found that I like the stay wear powder foundation better. I have combination skin with hormonal acne and it doesn't aggravate my acne at all. I usually just get a under the skin bump or two on my chin a week before my cycle and this foundation doesn't make it worse or aggravate it in any way. I don't have any injections or fillers and I have some fine lines and it doesn't sit in those lines making me look older so I definitely like that. I take good care of my skin and believe in aging gracefully. I know I am getting older and the wrinkles are coming but thats okay with me. My smile lines are from the wonderful smiles and laughs I've had and I wear them proudly. I eat a healthy diet, workout every morning and I only drink water and my skin reflects that and looks healthy. Just because we age doesn't mean we won't look good anymore. Healthy, glowing skin is beautiful at any age in my opinion. So, I use this powder foundation all year round and I definitely recommend using a good primer for your skin type before applying this foundation. It definitely keeps it looks good thru your work day. I use to solely use Clinique and I still use their eye shadow, mascara, blush and skincare but I had a good friend introduce me to this foundation and I literally ran out to get it lol. Just remember every day you wake up is a gift and a chance to shine :)

I finally found the right company and the right shade. Love the way they help with the skin tone descriptions. It took a couple of try's but the free returns made it effortless, and the refills for the compact at a less expensive price make it a win win.

So far I really like this powder. I have the same color in the powder as the foundation and it was an almost perfect match considering how pale I am. I like that it has stayed on after my 12 to 14 hr shifts at the hospital. It has not caused any acne which I like as I am prone to hormonal acne. I will definitely be sticking with this powder as I like how close it is with my skin tone and doesn't make me look orange.

I wasn't sure if I would like this, or if it would work for my 56 year old combination skin. I love it. It is quick and easy to apply and looks good all day. Two things to note - for me, using just the sponge isn't enough for application, I apply it with the sponge, but have to use a foundation brush to buff it in so it looks smooth. I also wear 1C1 Cool Bone in the DL liquid foundations which I also purchased in the powder foundation. It seems darker in the powder foundation, so next time I will purchase the lighter shade. When I want my skin to look as good as possible, I wear the DL liquid foundation, but when I have to be out the door in no time, I opt for the powder foundation, not quite as perfect, but still looks really good.
