I have tried a few different primers and glow products under the foundation, and so far none of them seem to lay well. They either seperate or oxidize. Bt the end of the day, I feel like the foundation looks patchy and worn off in certain areas. Should I be looking for water or silicone based products?

Yes I am Ready for my closeup.
This product is amazing, it's light and yet it covers my dark spots. It has an SPF of 45 so I don't have to worry about putting on sunscreen underneath it. It doesn't look like someone baked a cake on my face and it lasts a long time. Yes, Estee Lauder you did it again!
Light coverage, beautiful finish
This is the prettiest skinlike foundation I've used. It is light coverage and I don't think it would look better on me if I built it to medium coverage. It is moisturizing and takes an hour or more to feel fully set, but it does feel good on the skin and definitely does not feel heavy. The ingredients are loaded with beneficial skin care and it has a high spf rating. However, I would not apply enough to achieve the spf listed. I apply this foundation with a damp beauty blender because that works best on my skin, but I've seen brush applications that are gorgeous. I use moisturizer and sunscreen under it and let those set for at least 30 minutes before applying the foundation.
I would not buy this again. It was too heavy for my skin

I wanted to love this but...
Feels good, it feels weightless and have decent build able coverage. However I got this to help reduce fine lines and mature Very dry skin. It made it worse! It settled in the fine lines and made my dry spots worse! I do not recommend.
not for me
i have tried to apply this with numerous techniques but it always comes out a bit patchy and it settles into my pores. I've never had a foundation settle like this and i wanted to love it but this just didn't sit right with my skin
