    Seems to work

I really hesitated to buy this because of the price and I wasn't sure how it would work but Ulta has such a libral return policy I thought I would try it. I used this when my hair had a lot of gray roots and I should have been using a box color like I usually do so this was a pretty tough test of th...

    Does not work!

Discovered this at Ulta by accident. I was excited about this product. I'm getting tired of root touch ups every 2 weeks. Well it did nothing. I left it on for 40 mins. As I was waiting, it looked like my roots were turning golden brown. I needed darker, but I would have been fine with it. Washed ...

    Works for dark brown/black hair!

I bought this to use between going to the salon for color refreshes. I have naturally dark brown hair and color my hair close to black. My hair tends to start showing red tones when the color fades and I wanted something to help fix that. This did! I bought the "black" and it works great! I shampoo/condition my hair, squeeze water out, brush, then apply this in my hair evenly and let sit for 20mins then rinse. It added shine and made it darker! I will continue to use this for my hair. I do recommend using gloves to apply. The smell is GROSS but if the product works then the smell doesn't matter. Once you rinse it out the smell goes away.

Great product in between salon colors!

I bought "cool medium brown" shade. My natural color is very light ashy brown and I dye it a more rich neutral light brown. I always struggle with keeping the color cool-toned enough. I use blue shampoo but after about 3 weeks I realized it was just that my color looked faded and that's why the blue shampoo didn't seem to work anymore. What I actually needed at that point was something color depositing. I shampooed and squeezed all the excess water out and then applied the cool medium brown color for 10 minutes and it was perfect! I'm SUPER happy with how it looks, it's not too dark at all which I always fear with these types of products (though next time I will maybe try 7 minutes to experiment) and it will stop me from being tempted to color my hair more than 1x a month. I really recommend this if you need a refresh between colors!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

I usually get my hair done a cool brown at the salon. Unfortunately, my hair does pull warm. I decided to try "cool brown"! I first washed my hair, and applied this on damp hair. I was a little worried after readinf the reviews. Once i washed it out and styled my hair I was obssesed! It canceled out the warm tones! I tots recommend!
