I loved the old Elf eyeshadow primer! I not only used it for my eyelids, but it did a great job on my bridge to even out the redness without having to wear many or heavy products. This new version is terrible!! It's very oily putting it on. It has no tint what-so-ever and you can't visibly tell you'...

I used to use elf's Shadow Lock Eyelid Primer & it worked alright, but when I ran out, I didn't repurchase. Since then, I've been going without primer & my eyeshadow has always disappeared into the crease of my eyelid within a couple hours. I used this today & it has held up for over 10 hours so far...I love this thing!

I had used the original primer for years and felt it worked great in the heat and humidity of southern summers. This new product is too fluid, feels oily and does not have the tint that I liked for brightening the lid. I will not buy again and would love e.l.f to bring back the original product.

I just repurchased this for the second time! It works really well, it applies smoothly and it definitely makes my eyeshadow more pigmented and it lasts so much longer. If you have oily eyelids it's fantastic for the longevity of your eyeshadow
