    Q
    Apply with brush?
    Asked by Susan
Official Answer By Bobbi Brown US
Thanks for your question! For best results with your Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Smudge-Proof Gel Eyeliner, begin by dipping the tip of the Bobbi Brown Ultra Fine Eyeliner Brush into Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Smudge-Proof Gel Eyeliner. You'll want to start toward edge of the container as opposed to dipping your brush directly in the middle of it. Be sure to coat both sides of the brush and wipe off any excess. Apply this silky eyeliner in short, even strokes along the lashline, from the inner to the outer corner of the eyes. Q
Can I apply this to my waterline?
    Asked by Emily
Official Answer By Bobbi Brown US
Thanks for asking! Unfortunately, our Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Smudge-Proof Gel Eyeliner isn’t meant for the waterlines. For best results, dip the tip of the Bobbi Brown Ultra Fine Eyeliner Brush (sold separately) into Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner, making sure both sides of the brush are evenly coated. Wipe off any excess on a tissue. Working quickly, apply eyeliner in short, even strokes close to the lashline, from the inner to the outer eye corner. This method ensures a clean and precise application, giving you that perfect, defined look. Was this answer helpful to you
    Q
Do you spray setting spray on the product before applying with brush?
    Asked by Mikey
Official Answer By Bobbi Brown US
Great question! There is no need to use a setting spray before applying this product to achieve flawless definition. For best results, dip the tip of the Bobbi Brown Cosmetics Ultra Fine Eyeliner Brush directly into your Bobbi Brown Cosmetics Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner. After coating both sides of the brush, wipe off any excess product on a tissue. Working quickly, apply eyeliner in short, even strokes close to the lashline, from the inner to the outer eye corner. Was this answer helpful to you

    Best Eyeliner

This is the best eyeliner I have ever tried. It stays on even in hot, humid weather and the color stays true. It goes on smoothly and looks great!

A little bit good, a little bit bad

As much as I love this eyeliner - I have worn it for years - I absolutely hate that the product dries up halfway before you've used it all. I always end up throwing away half the pot to replace it with new eyeliner that won't flake and will spread nicer, given me even coverage. Once I get my new pot...

I don't understand why this is beloved

I bought this in black, with the BB eyeliner brush. I typically wear a winged liner, a long time ago, I used a pencil, or crayon, but once I switched to liquid, that was my thing. I was using Lancome's liquid liner until I tried UD 24/7 - which lasts an entire day on my oily hooded lids, as long as I apply a good setting powder (the best one I've found, is made by an antiperspirant company, Carpe). Anyhow, during an Ulta sale, I bought this eyeliner and tried the tight-lining technique in the video on the product detail page. What a mess! Within an hour, I had massive raccoon eyes. I cleaned it up, then an hour later more raccoon eyes 🦝- which was surprising given the fact that I hardy used much product. It was pretty difficult to remove all of the liner at the day, I used a cleansing oil, twice and face wash. When I woke up the next morning, it was apparent that I hadn't removed it all. I don't understand the hype behind this stuff, my experience with it was so contradictory. On one hand, it had no staying power when I put it on, yet on the other hand, it was so hard to remove! I did try it again with my favorite setting powder, only on my upper lids and not using the tight-lining technique- it still smeared under my eyes and it didn't look as nice since I didn't want to get it near my lashes at all. It was so expensive that I'm hesitant to toss it, but the next time I try it I'm going to make sure I'm not leaving the house. Is there some trick to using this stuff?

I have this in Jet Black and Caviar Ink. I use this eyeliner with Bobbi Brown's eyeliner brush. The liner applies very smoothly and wear very well during the day. I have oily eye lids and I'm always on the hunt for eyeliners that stay put and don't end up underneath my eyes during the day. It stays on until I'm ready to take it off with makeup remover. The Gel Liner has been my go-to for years. I'll always use this eyeliner.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
