Compact but not easy to twirl
I like the small size for packing in my suitcase. It gets nice and hot. However, it is very difficult to twirl your hair when curling because there is no "clamp" on it to hold your hair! You have to manually wrap your hair around the wand and hold it there. I burned my fingers several times already.

Love the travel size, but horrible to actually use
hair gets caught when unwrapping, not good for long hair unless you just need like 2 waves (great for those chunks of hair that are straight on top, but wavy on the bottom), so light that the cord gets in the way and makes the iron part sit directly on the counter - i've burned 2 hotel bathroom sink...

Use like a wand
My wand broke and I needed something to replace it in a pinch. This travel curler works great! Gets very hot quickly and I love the size of the barrel

Hair gets caught in the handle when curling
Love the size and heating ability. Dont love that my hair catches and gets stuck in between the barrel and handle when using it.
No spring clip to hold hair!

There is no thumb clip /bar to lift up to catch hair for rolling! You have to hold your hair on the heated bar to start to wrap it around. Instant finger burn. Returned within the hour.
