Begin with dry detangled hair. Divide hair at the temples and secure the top half out of the way. Then divide the bottom half into 1-2'' sections to begin styling. Hold the wand over your head with the tip pointing downward and wrap a section of hair around the barrel. Finish with the end of the section against the barrel tip. Hold for a few seconds then slide the wand out to release the wave.

Be Extremely Careful
I purchased this curling wand for my sister for christmas. It does an okay job on curling your hair. I borrowed my sisters curling wand because mine broke. Her curling wand the heat wasnt even. It ended up severely burning my hand. I spent a friday night in emergency being treated for severe burns....

I was skeptic to buy this due to poor reviews but I'm glad I did. It heats up fast, curls stay in tact, & the wand is really long compared to others which is great for my long & thick hair. The stand could be a bit bigger but so far it's the best wand I've owned.
