I really like this e.l.f. primer grip matte. It keeps my face from looking oily. It goes on very easily and doesn't have a bad smell.

Great Primer!
I love this mattifying primer! It applies effortlessly and provides the perfect grip for makeup. It's lightweight, non-sticky, and never greasy, allowing my makeup to wear beautifully throughout the day.
My makeup lasts all day
The elf power grip primer is great if you need your makeup to last all day.. by all day I mean over 12 hours! Its tacky consistency makes sure my makeup doesn't budge and it's so affordable!
Nice surprise
(Product gifted for free testing) The primer is non scented and sets into skin quickly. This product is a matte finish so it is a little drying but does the job well. My only issue was how thick the product is, I could see this potentially clogging pores if too much is applied.
Not good for dry/mature skin
This unfortunately was a miss for me. I am a bit older and tend to have skin that leans on the dryer side. I applied this as directions stated onto clean moisturized skin. I tried it with a stick foundation and a liquid. Within moments of application with my stick foundation you could see every line and dry patch. It was a little bit better on the liquid foundation side but not much. This will not be something I reach for again.

Eesh, where to begin. this was a nightmare to apply no matter what I tried. The pilling did not cease no matter what application process I tried and once I made it through that mess and dusted the pilling off of my face my foundation and concealer looked caked on and separated pretty quickly.. I received this product in trade for my honest review
