Good beginner thermal brush

Like many people, I've seen the Wavytalk ads all over Tiktok but wanted to get a device from a more trusted brand. Too noisy. Not enough bristles. Not enough heat. Previously used Hot Tools and Calista -- were great.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Like many people, I've seen the Wavytalk ads all over Tiktok but wanted to get a device from a more trusted brand. I happened to stop into Ulta and saw the Infiniti Pro pink ceramic thermal brush on a peg hook, but unfortunately it was not on display - so it was a blind purchase. Pros: - Multi-heat settings for different hair types/thickness. - Heats up relatively quick, about 1.5 mins to ~350°. - Lightweight, good barrel length & thickness. - NO SILICONE BRISTLES!! The drybar brush on display in stores has silicone bristles which absolutely grab and snag hair causing damage. - Easy button control, easy instructions. - I had little to no frizz after styling. Cons: - The tip at the end for leverage can get quite hot on higher heat settings. - I wish the tip was a bit longer for more control/tension for longer hair styling. Other thoughts: - This brush has a fan setting, I played around with it but found no real difference with/without it in style retention. - Fan setting is relatively quiet. - Button placement, I found my thumb was constantly pressing the power button when rotating, BUT, there are features that prevent accidental heat setting changes. Final thoughts: This is a good starter tool, lightweight and simple to use for everyday styling. Ensure you brush hair prior to styling and I recommend heat protection when using hot tools. My hair retained a soft wave and good root volume for a few hours with no hairspray, style retention may vary on different hair types and if product is used for hold. Looking forward to seeing how this brush holds up with daily use!

Im not sure why this doesn't have more great reviews! Its basically the exact one you're seeing all over TikTok, I see some peiple didnt like the fan I personally love it and its never made my hair frizzy, couldve been the lack of product being used for that person. Also, if read the instructions it'll explain how to turn that off:) I also reccomend using the Redkin quick blow out spray with it!

Exactly what I was looking for! I wanted something to give me softer curls that would look more like a blowout. I got nervous looking at previous reviews as one girl couldn't get the fan off but I didn't have that issue and the instructions told me how to turn it off and on. But I'll be practicing more with this tool to be able to get even better at achieving the look I'm going for. It has helped me to watch small tutorials of others using hot brush's on TikTok.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

First time I plugged it in at my hotel it shut off, and is now broken. Frustrating because now I'm out the money and have no way of styling my hair on my trip. Althought the tool says 120/240 V the plug itself says 125V which is very misleading.
