This product is getting unjustly review bombed
All i see online is drama and doom and gloom about this product from people who haven't even actually tried the product. Any good review is deemed a paid shill, and any negative review is heralded as being the truth. People have already made up their minds before this product even came out, they jus...

Buyer beware - it's nothing close to the original
I discovered this powder by fluke during my trip to Ulta yesterday. Was actually going in to try and snag one of the last original formula powders I could before 2.0 came out. Unfortunately, I was too little, too late. Since this was already on the shelves, though, I figured I'd give it a try. ...

YOU MUST PICK A FEW SHADES LIGHTER!!!!!! I am typically NC17 for liquid, NC15 in the previous powder (I went lighter to brighten). And for this I am NC13. Not the end of the world. It's not that deep. Anyways. I put it on half of my face with primer, half without. Still blurring. The side with primer looked better by a smidge. I love that; considering people don't use primer like that. When my concealer was cracking thru out the day, I put some of this on and IT FIXED IT! The old studio fix couldn't do that. It lasted me all day. I love it.

This reformulation is awful, clings to texture and emphasizes it even with the proper prep and what seems like half a bottle of fix plus . It does feel light weight but also teels very dry yet somehow l had pools of oil around my face at the end of the day. As a makeup artist and a consumer this is just not up to par with the original. I can see it maybe as a finishing powder but not as a replacement for my beloved OG 😭
So much better than the old formula
So, i had a love and hate relationship with the old formula depending on which primer I would use. I, for one thing never really find it natural looking on my skin. But this new one, oh I love it! It looks so much natural and I love that it controls oil so much better than the old formula.
Change is good
Doesn't oxidize at all lke the OG, suoer long lasting (i think even better than old formula) , and doesnt feel heavy. Really enjoying this product after worrying about the change in formula! So far, so good
Umm, no….
The packaging is the only thing they got right. Even their claim to a "matched" transition color from a color they no longer carry is bad. Bring back the old formual, MAC.
