Apply this powder foundation to prepped skin.
For lighter coverage, use a fluffy brush like the 168S Brush.
To build coverage, apply with the included sponge applicator or a 170S Brush. Store sponge in the compartment underneath the powder instead of on top of the powder.

I love MAC products and this WAS my go-to compact, they changed the shade, packaging and the new shade is wayyy too lighter for me. I'm so very disappointed!! I don't want to start looking for other brands to find my shade....but for someone who is using MAC compact for over 15 years, this is so so so sad!

After using the OG Studio Fix Powder for over 15 years, it is time say goodbye. I used to use NC20, the new formula says I am now NC15, which is a joke. It is so dark. As for the formula, it is definitely not full coverage, last as long or is as matte as before. Needless to say, I have to find another foundation powder now and I am heartbroken that I have to say goodbye to MAC Studio Fix. The original formula was a best seller for a reason. Lesson here is if it ain't broken don't try to fix it. Change is not always better.

:/ please bring back the old formula. This contains a lot of comedogenic ingredients and is not as blurring or perfecting as the old formula. I wish there was just an addition of shades instead of a reformulation of the product

Dear MAC - WHY WOULD YOU MESS WITH SUCH AN ICONIC PRODUCT! This will never beat the OG Studio Fix. The color shades are off, the coverage is not there and you get less product! BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL FORMULA! You could have just added this to your product line for this who MAY love it, but NO, you just had to fix something that wasn't broken. Now I'm searching 3rd party black market sellers for the original.
