However, if you are using a cream based eye shadow or hydrating concealer, the oil within those products may breakdown the waterproof formula and allow it to transfer. Ulta mistitled this mascara. Covergirl does NOT have a WATERPROOF version of Clump Crusher. This one is WATER-RESISTANT. Waterproof and water-resistant mean two different things. I loved this product it was so easy to apply and easy to remove. It doesn't clump and is very affordable. I will definitely repurchase this in the future!
This is my new favorite mascara!
I have hooded eyes and can usually only wear waterproof formulas, but this water resistant one works for me, and it's easier to remove. I have lashes that are too long for my eyes (no lid space, my lashes reach to my brows) but they are mostly blonde. What I look for in a mascara is just a tint of my lashes. I don't want length, and I don't want volume. I also cannot stand clumps. This mascara separates and tints my lashes and holds the curl without clumping, smudging, smearing, or flaking. I hope this never gets discontinued because it's the first mascara I've found that is perfect on all fronts.

For some reason this is listed as waterproof but it's only water resistant. It matters because if you have straight lashes you need to use waterPROOF mascara to hold a curl, this isn't waterproof therefore if won't hold a curl. very irritating that the correct information isn't posted about this procuct, especially since the picture even shows a tube that says waterproof even though in real life it says water resistant
