All the other curl type products that I've used leaves my curls looking stringy. Will this gel and the NYM line of products help with this? Ive spent so much money trying to keep this from happening with no luck so far. I want a nice hold, defined curls, no frizz and fluffy curls.

may work for some, not me
i was excited to use this gel because i love the not your mothers line! the first time i used it, i got some nice definition! but my curly felt very dry. the second time i used it, my hair was all frizzy, little to no definition, and it was VERY dry. i thought it was just my hair, but i washed my hair and tried my curly routine without it and it felt way better. unfortunately, too drying for my 3a/b curls :(

This was recommended by an Ulta associate for my almost completely straight hair. There's no hold at all and it made my hair look greasy. Would probably work much better on coarse hair that needs smoothing vs styling.
Good definition but dry
I liked the smell and thought it gave good definition but my hair always felt so dry after using this. I'll keep looking for a more moisturizing curl gel

Hair Type Very Curly Hair
I bought a Not Your Mother's gel in the past and I can't remember why I didn't re-purchase so I decided to try it again. Well, I was pleasantly surprised! It gave me a nice hold without being sticky or flaky. I think I could actually use a bit more next time to achieve an even greater result.
