I tried this for the first time today and was amazed. Perfect formula, not to wet, not to dry, lasted all day, gave length and volume without clumping. I love the brush, coats every lash evenly and quickly, 1 or 2 coats and you're good to go. I am on my way to get the waterproof version of this. ...

Bought this mascara on a lark. I've tried other Essences mascaras and have been pleasantly pleased with them. I'm VERY picky about mascara. I like this mascara and how it looks. It goes on well and lasts all day with no raccoon eyes!
Wanted to like it
This mascara was a great price point, but too good to be true. It flakes and then smears so half way through the day my eyes are irritated, i have bags under my eyes and my skin is being tugged at to wipe it away. Definitely not worth the "price".

Voluminous but flakes
I really like how much volume this mascara gives my lashes! The only downside is that it flakes and smudges too much for me. It might work better for someone less oily.
