The original Revlon one step styler was perfect in every way except that it gets VERY hot. I was so excited to try the "upgraded" version that had more heat settings. TOXIC PLASTIC SMELL. I was so excited for this since the top comes off which would make it easier to clean. But when using it, there was a horrible plastic smell, so toxic. I returned it the next day and invested in a normal style blow dryer.

I bought this blowdry brush specifically because they promote it as being a SYNTHETIC bristle brush, NOT a combination of nylon and boar bristles. Emailed the company and they DID confirm that it contains boar bristle as well. If you are vegan, muslim, or jewish that is a HUGE violation in my opinion. Not to mention there are better blowout brushes out there. Pass.

worked great for 7 months- now no heat
This was a great blow dry brush, made it so easy to straighten my hair without lots of frizz or effort. Yesterday, I went to use it and it no longer blows hot air, slightly warm at best. I only use this 2 times a week, disappointed that it didn't even make it a year!
