Shake can well. Spray into dry hair for volume and a firm, all day hold. Pick up hair and spray at the root area for extra volume.

No visible sparkles.
The hairspray itself is great, which is why I gave it 3 stars, however I bought it because it advertised sparkles in the hairspray which I have yet to see. So if you're buying this for a dash of color or glitter; don't. But it is an excellent spray.

Won't Spray
This used to be my favorite hairspray; this was a replacement for another one that didn't spray; sprayer wasn't clogged or anything; it just didn't work. Same thing is happening with this one! Not sure what is going on with this product!

I have wavy hair & straighten it after every wash. I use a combination of Kenra hairspray & Sexy Hair prior to straightening. The Kenra hairspray has a stronger hold, then I finish with Sexy Hair (Stargazer has the best scent). I've read reviews of issues with the spray nozzle clogging up. I run the nozzle after each use under hot water. I have yet to have any issues with the spray nozzle clogging. I absolutely love going for walks at night, the mist elevates the scent in the Sexy Hair Stargazer.
