Why has Regular hold been discontinued? The strong hold is too heavy and breaks hair. Regular is light, flexible great to work with and doesn't break the hair. Regular is the best especially for fine hair. Strong hold doesn't even keep the curl. It just weights the hair down

The formula changed a long time ago so I stopped using it. Does anyone remember the scent of Nixion hair spray from the late 90's to the early 2000's? It was a completely different scent, not minty. Smelled heavenly to me. More like cologne but not too heavy. Definitely good hairspray it worked great but the scent was 90% of my reason for buying it. Will Nixion ever bring that scent back or use it in another product?

What can I do to keep the spray from stopping up the nozzle? I love the hair spray but it clogs up often and won't come out of the can.

- Official Answer By Nioxin - Brand EngageSoak the can upside-down in a hot (not boiling) mug of water overnight, letting the water cool naturally. Take out the can and let it air-dry prior to spraying. We have had great success getting cans unclogged this way. Best Ever!
Since moving to the humid state of Florida this is the ONLY spray that works for me. I have heavy/thick hair and it holds up beautifully. The morning after you can still comb it out and restyle easily.

I use Nioxin's shampoo and conditioner and mouse and thickening gel. I use the hairspray also. I have used these products for more than 10 years. However, with the hairspray, I have a problem with the product not spraying. In the past, when the hairspray was less than 1/2 full, I would start having a problem with it stopping up and not spraying properly. At that point, I could clean the nozzle and and it could be used. Currently, I have 3 new cans of the hairspray and 2 will not spray at all; another one only drizzles out. What do I do to get it spray? I love the product when it sprays as it should.
I buy Nioxin products again and again.

Would I purchase this hairspray again? Still on the fence. Yes, this spray held my style in place but as the day progressed, my curls began to droop. The scent is very strong, and I could smell the hairspray all day. Guessing if you have short hair, the results would be much better (I have shoulder length).
