Really good mascara
I'm not sure why I saw so many negative reviews on this product. It's a great mascara! My all time go-to is Too Faced BTS. This mascara is very comparable to it but, blacker and less clumpy. I found it fairly easy to use despite comments saying the brush is too large/ difficult to get in the corners...

does not last all day
I wanted to like this and love ofher tarte products. I'm happy I only bought the travel size because this is NOT the one. By 3pm, my underyes are dark and creased and my lashes don't look as covered. I like the wand and application is nice but it does not last.

I liked it so much I went back and bought the full size. Really good for thin straight lashes.
Honest review, this is not the mascara you want
I have used this mascara in the travel size for 3+ years; I love that its vegan and it used to be incredible… Unfortunately, it seems the product formula has changed, because in the last year of using it, it still looks amazing when first applied, but then, NO MATTER WHAT… it MELTS OFF under the eyes, making you look like the love child of Uncle Fester and a racoon… I have tried several lash primers, under mascara, over mascara, and with both over and under the mascara, misted my lashes with setting spray… I have done it all, but without fail, its flaking off into my eyes, and melting off under my eyes within the first hour, and requires CONSTANT touchups… sad to let this one go and have to search for a new one, but this is just not a good mascara anymore…
Why the bad reviews? This is a great mascara!
I am giving it 4 stars only because I use the Essence primer underneath (it's $4.99 and the best lash primer I have ever used) but this mascara is great! I have used the same shaped wand mascara, Better than Sex and others, but this is volumizing without being clumpy and it doesn't melt or transfer throughout the day. I always buy the travel size because I end up replacing it way before the product is used up. Highly recommended!
