- Before you begin styling, ensure hair is 100% dry.
- Apply Neuro Protect HeatCTRL Iron Hairspray to dry hair for thermal protection.
- To straighten hair: Working with 1-2" (2.5-5 cm) hair sections, glide the iron from roots to ends slowly and steadily. You may run a fine-tooth comb through the hair ahead of the iron to distribute the hair evenly on the iron's surface.
- To wave or curl hair: Close the iron over a 1-2" (2.5-5 cm) hair section at the place where you wish the wave to begin and rotate the tool 180 degrees. With firm tension, slowly pull the iron through the hair clockwise all the way through the ends. For a loose wave, comb through your styled hair.

I bought this product thinking it would control the frizz and straighten. I have another Paul Mitchell straightener that works great but this one is horrible. It doesn't even look like I used a straightener. So much frizz. Not a fan!

This hair straightener is perfect for those with already straight or wavy hair not so much for the curly hair girls and it's only because I didn't notice much of a difference to any other hair straightener. It does have a great temperature control and it saves the last temperature you used for the next time, it also has a really good cord length and good heat distribution too.

I received the Neuro Style+ 1" Professional Straightening & Styling Iron for free in exchange for my honest review. This is a high quality ceramic flat iron with 6 different heat settings, up to 450F. I really like that you can adjust the heat setting - I tried them all and levels 3-5 were sufficient to straighten my very curly (3A/3B), very frizzy hair, but 450F was faster. It took less than 25min to straighten my medium-long hair (after a very cursory blowdry to get it dry), which is pretty quick. The performance is on par with (or even better than) a GHD Platinum+ flat iron, which costs twice as much as the Neuro Style+. The ceramic plates heat up very quickly and remain hot, but it definitely takes more than "one pass" to straighten my hair. I didn't notice a huge improvement in shine or frizz compared to my GHD or CHI flat irons, but it was at least comparable. The 2yr warranty, 1 hr auto shutoff safety feature, and long cord are additional pluses. For some reason, mine didn't come with a user manual, but you can download it online. The only cons are that my fingers and palm got caught in the space behind the ceramic plates several times, so I had to move my hand up closer to the ceramic plates, which was also uncomfortable because the outside of the styling iron gets VERY hot. It also would have been nice if the package included a heat resistant protective cover so that you don't have to worry about burning anything while you wait for it to cool. However, there is an option to lock the plates in place together, which is nice. I would definitely recommend this styling iron as it performs just as well as the more expensive brands, for a much better price.

I recieved this product free from influenster in exchange for an honest review!!! So it works ok to straighten my thin fine hair, but it does pull your hair quit a bit which is no good. I do love how the cord is very long. I think it would not be good fpr a person with more thicker hair. It was a hit disappointing, so I don't think I'd really recommend.
