The reviews claiming that it very easily flakes are correct. I tried to make it work but whatever I do, there are flakes under my eyes by the end of the day which is disappointing and unflattering

I really like this mascara, not only because it's the green edition and has shea butter but also due to the brush being curved. I think that's what helps to give my lashes volume and it feels light
FLAKES
Possibly the worst mascara I have ever used. I bought this Maybelline green edition mousse mascara at the drugstore on clearance ($6ish) because I was looking for a brown mascara and it was cheap. I regret it. Dry and crumbly when on from the first use, usually there is a "too wet" phase for me and new mascara, but not for this one. Don't try to curl your lashes after using it, because it will flake EVEN worse. Does not lift or hold lashes, not buildable, not long lasting.

I am a long-time Maybelline fan. I love the other green edition products and wanted to love this mascara too, but it is awful. It applied really nicely, no clumping, very natural looking; however, an hour later my cheeks were covered in black flakes! Not a few but a lot. I have never seen anything like it. Very disappointing. I have never written a review but I felt this had to be said because I like Maybelline and this product does not measure up.

I'm happily surprised by the quality of this mascara! I used to only use Burt's Bees Natural mascara and I decided to try this one for fun, with not a lot of hopes... I'm super impressed, I have very sensitive eyes and I barely feel this one!
